Can’t find a movie to watch with your significant other? We found a simple solution

As Valentine’s Day approaches, are you planning a date at home with your loved one? Maybe a movie night is in order.

If you’re like me, you’ve had a recurring problem of browsing Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or another streaming service, trying to agree or settle on a movie to watch with our other significant, to arrive empty-handed.

My husband and I wasted an hour or more being incredibly indecisive and then ended up having no time to watch a movie.

Whether it’s because there are too many options, you can’t agree on something, or nothing catches your eye, it can be a little frustrating.

We’ve found a tool that could ease the frustration and provide ideas you never thought of.

DateNightMovies gives you a space where you can submit the title of your favorite movie (or maybe just something similar to whatever you fancy), then pair it with your SO’s favorite, and it comes up with a movie that’s supposed to be a happy medium.

To see what kind of ideas the website provided, I grabbed two very different movies: “PS I Love You” and “Iron Man”.

“PS I Love you”, in case you haven’t seen it, is a film about a woman who mourns the loss of her husband. He follows his journey to find happiness.

“Iron Man” is the ever-popular Marvel film that shows how Tony Stark becomes the superhero we all know and love.

The best result we received was “The Social Network”. Granted, we’ve never seen it, but the synopsis goes: “Brilliant Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg creates the social network that will eventually dominate the world as Facebook, but faces adversity when he is chased by his best friend and the two men who commissioned his creation. .”

Some other recommendations he gave were “Captain Marvel“, “Man of Steel”, “She”, “The Fault in Our Stars”, “The Notebook”, and “Love and Other Drugs”.

You can also click on the just option to get a random recommendation.
