Expo D23 2022 is just around the corner, which begs the question – what will the mouse bring to your home this coming year? Although the ultimate disney fan event promises many exciting new trailers and entertainment reveals, here at the pop insider we are very excited about the merchandising and experiences.

The Disney Parks and Experiences Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion will invite guests to step into the new stories, attractions and adventures Disney Imagineers are creating for parks around the world. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction coming to Disneyland Park and Disney World Resort, EPCOT new look, new Frozen– themed experiences, and more. Phew!

Later in the Expo, Josh D’Amaro – President of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products – will take the stage for A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. This presentation will reveal new details about a variety of Disney products.

Of course, there will also be tons of products to buy at the show. D23 Expo will feature new and limited-edition products from Disney, Pixar, wonder, star warsand National geographic, as well as items that celebrate Disney100 and D23 Expo. Fans can visit the D23 Expo Marketplace for an immersive retail experience featuring products from shopDisney.com and Disney Parks. Additionally, the Walt Disney Imagineering Mickey’s of Glendale Store will return to D23 Expo this year with three unique retail spaces: Mickey’s of Glendale Main Store, Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store, and D23 Expo Shop x Mickey’s of Glendale.

Last but not least, D23 guests will also have the opportunity to have first access to DisneyMe, a new digital avatar system in the Play Disney Parks application. This new technology will allow visitors to express their Disney style by creating their own DisneyMe virtual character.

And to celebrate the launch of DisneyMe as part of Disney Uncharted Adventure on the Disney Wish cruise ship, guests will be invited to a quest that can only be completed during Expo. Visitors can find Disney Wish and D23 Expo digital apparel and accessories specially designed for their DisneyMe in the lounge.
