[LISTEN] Hawkeye’s Hailee Steinfeld + Netflix, Disney + ratings – deadline

Located in a post Avengers: Endgame world, the six episodes Hawk Eye the TV series will launch with two episodes on November 24 on streamer House of Mouse.
A self-proclaimed protÃ©gÃ© of Renner’s Hawkeye / Clint Barton, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse alum Steinfeld embodies the extraordinary archer Kate Bishop.
First introduced in the Young Avengers comics in 2005, the character of Bishop teamed directly with Barton in Matt Fraction and the acclaimed David Aja film. Hawk Eye series printed in 2012 before picking up the torch from Hawkeye herself. Alongside the Disney + series which will debut next week, a Hawkeye: Kate Bishop The linked comic book series will also hit shelves this month.
As the MCU expands on the small screen with one quick click, Hawk Eye, who co-stars Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, was a big part of the second annual Disney + Day on November 12. Drawing from the great car chases of Bullitt and The French connection, with a pinch of The blue brothers, there was a big clip of Hawk Eye last week as one of Marvel’s many sparkling gems in Disney’s crown.
