Sony: “No Official Plan” for Tom Holland’s NEW “Spider-Man” Trilogy

Despite recent reports, Sony is not officially moving forward with another Spider Man trilogy with Tom Holland for now, as Sony just clarified the air with a “no official plans” statement for the new one Spider Man films at the time.

There is a bit of confusion within the Marvel community.

Every Marvel fan is on cloud nine with Spider-Man: No Path Home (2021) almost in theaters. With news from producer Amy Pascal as a new Tom Holland Spider Man trilogy is said to be in the works, the Marvel community has exploded with excitement. But, a Sony insider just shared with Hollywood journalist that Sony and Marvel aren’t quite ready for three more Spider Man movies:

Sony insiders note that while the studio has a strong relationship with Holland and Feige and hopes to continue their collaboration, there are no official plans for a trilogy at this point.

Hollywood journalist does not indicate that Sony technically returned to Amy Pascal’s exciting announcement, however, so it’s unclear whether Sony is really moving forward with a new Spider Man trilogy starring Tom Holland’s Avenger – a fan favorite character set to lead the next phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Pascal recently spoiled that Venom would be joining the MCU before Kevin Feige and his team wanted fans to know, and this Tom Holland leak could be the latest spoil in his Marvel tenure.

In a whirlwind of confusion, it’s obvious Dutchman Spidey is here to stay, but maybe Marvel Studios and Sony Picutres weren’t ready for the news to leak so soon – especially from an executive. prominent as producer Amy Pascal (who worked closely with Kevin Feige on the recent Spider Man movie theater).

Sony, which has long controlled the film rights to Spider-Man, made five films starring the hero from 2002 to 2014, three directed by Sam Raimi and two by filmmaker Marc Webb. At the time, Sony is go ahead with another Tom Holland trilogy after Spider-Man: No Path Home (2021), but Sony did not officially has announced the Marvel Universe expansion at the moment.

Safer Spider-Man: No Path Home

In No way home, Tom Holland (Peter Parker / Spider-Man) and Zendaya (MJ) are joined by Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Stephen Strange), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds) and the Villain with great power Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus in a multiverse adventure.

Previous “Spider-Men” Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reportedly appeared in No way home, sending emblematic characters back to their respective worlds.

Seeing both characters join the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen would have a bigger impact on the Marvel collection than Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019) combined.

No way home features Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Lizard (Rhys Ifans), Electro (Jaime Foxx) and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) as Sinister Six (technically “Sinister Five”).

Following Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), fans can watch Marvel’s biggest battle in New York City on the big screen with No way home December 17, 2021!
