The digital date of Morbius would have been revealed
Morbius will soon be making its way into homes around the world after a lackluster theatrical run. It was the second spin-off of Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man character universe, and it really was like that. The film takes place in the same universe as that of Tom Hardy Venom, so hopefully this will add to something event-driven in the future. Earlier today it was revealed exactly when we could expect Morbius as a digital download. According to a listing on a ticketing site in India, Book my showthe film will be available for digital download on May 19, 2022.
Jared Leto Morbius was met with awful reviews and a dismal box office return. The film is the second lowest rated Marvel film of all time and has grossed $156 million worldwide at the box office. Director Daniel Espinosa previously expressed his emotions towards Morbius‘ negative reviews. While speaking with Insider, the director revealed how he felt seeing the film have such a low Rotten Tomatoes score.
“When I did my first feature, it was a little movie called Babylon Disease. I remember one day I came home on the subway and had a few drinks, I was a little Someone nudged me on the train and said, “I have to tell you what’s wrong with the second scene of your feature film,” and I was like, “Well, okay,” Espinosa told Insider when asked about critical reviews. “I mean, it’s a weird thing to make something so public.”
Espinosa added: “Listen, I have a lot of self-hate, so I have a lot of criticism of my own work. I always try to focus on being better. But I’m also proud what I do. There are roles in all my films that I’m really proud of.”
Morbius is in theaters everywhere now! The film stars Jared Leto, Michael Keaton, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Matt Smith and Tyrese Gibson. Morbius follows Leto as Michael Morbius, a doctor who suffers from a rare blood disease and tries a very risky cure that essentially turns him into a vampire.
